The Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works organizes along with District Administration – Plovdiv a two-day discussion forum Service and Governance of the State-Owned Property: Problems and Practice. The forum will be held in the city of Plovdiv, Pavilion № 7 of the Fair City and will be opened by the Regional Development and Public Works Deputy Minister Ms. Petya Gegova on 19 February 2004, at 2 p.m. Invitations have been extended to all district governors and representatives appointed by them, whose work is directly related to the specified topic. The seminar will address the problems of state-owned property governance – a legal framework, proposals for improvement of the interaction practice between the MRDPW and the district governors, including drafting and updating state-owned property deeds. There will be a presentation of the practice of dealing with the state-owned property deeds in two districts – Gabrovo and Yambol. A review will be made of the state of the technical provision of the activities with respect to dealing with documents which are stipulated in the State Property Act. The seminar will consider the informational system for dealing with the state-owned property deeds and in particular the respective project of the Ministry. PR & International Relations Directorate
