The Bulgarian-Turkish working group and the Bulgarian-Turkish Committee on Cooperation under PHARE – CBC Programme between Bulgaria and Turkey approved Joint Programmatic Document and adopted a list of projects, which will be proposed for financing under Financial Memorandum 2004, as well as an indicative table for distribution of the funds under PHARE – CBC with Turkey within the period 2004-2006. The session of the working group and the committee on cooperation was held from 29.03.2004 to 01.04.2004 in the city of Ankara, Turkey. The Bulgarian part will propose for financing under Financial Memorandum 2004 the projects for construction of a new road from the town of Malko Tarnovo to the Bulgarian-Turkish border /3.5 km/, a bypass road of the town of Malko Tarnovo /0.45 кm in length/ and Small Projects Fund. The Turkish part proposes for financing a project for rehabilitation and use of Ekmedje Karavansarai as a trade, cultural and business centre and Small Projects Fund. The total budget of the projects proposed by Bulgaria and Turkey is worth over 8,2 mil. euro, including 6 mil. euro under PHARE Programme, and the rest is by national co-financing.
