Released the Traffic on the Newly Built Sector of Hemus Motorway

The construction works on the 13 km new sector of Hemus motorway between Shoumen and Kaspichan has finished. The traffic will be released on 30th October 2005. The formal opening ceremony will attend the Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev and the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Asen Gagauzov. The construction of the sector between Shoumen and Kaspichan road junctions has started 10 years ago and has been financed entirely by the state budget. The total amount of the project is over 79 mln. levs. A railway overhead crossing, agricultural underpasses, a bridge over Mytnishka river and other smaller facilities have been constructed on the road-bed. The construction of the Hemus Motorway has been carried out by “Cherno more Motorways” AD and a consultant on the project is “Patinvestengineering”.
