On 4 May 2004 in the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works was held the public opening of the international tender for project EUROPEAID/112354/D/W/BG – Construction of waste water treatment plants in Maritsa river basin – Lot 1 – Stara Zagora and Lot 2 – Dimitrovgrad”, financed by ISPA Programme of the European Union, and co-financed by the Government of Bulgaria and the European Investment Bank. Until the final date for submission – 17.00 h on 3 May 2004, were received 13 offers from international consortia. Representatives of all candidates were present at the tender opening at which were announced the offered prices for the design and the construction of the treatment plants for Lot 1 – Stara Zagora and Lot 2 – Dimitrovgrad, the discount and the proposed operation and maintenance costs, as per the attached table
