On 27 April 2004, Tuesday, at 10.30 Minister Cerovski will attend the ceremony of the start of the implementation of the rehabilitation of Lot № 9 of project Transit Roads 3 - Road I-1 from Vidin to Montana

On 27 April 2004, Tuesday, at 10.30 the Regional Development and Public Works Minister Valentin Cerovski will attend the ceremony of the start of the implementation of the rehabilitation of Lot № 9 of project Transit Roads 3 - Road I-1 from Vidin to Montana. The official ceremony will be performed in the town of Dimovo, the district of Vidin. It is envisaged that under project Transit Roads 3 will be rehabilitated first-class roads and motorways, about 244 km in total length in the direction of Pan European Transport Corridors № 4, 8 and 9. The length of Lot № 9 is 73,4 km, and the Contractor of the construction works is the Austrian company SHTRABAG, as the respective contract is worth 9 744 482 euro. The project Transit Roads 3 is co-funded by the EU ISPA Programme and by the state budget. On 28 April 2004, Wednesday, at 12 o’clock Minister Valentin Cerovski will attend the official ceremony in Varna for start of the work on Lot № 4 of the project Road Access to Tourism Sites under PHARE – Economic and Social Cohesion. The construction and the supervision of the four lots are at the total amount of 15 331 043 еurо. Under the project will be rehabilitated 21 road sections, 146 кm in length, in the North Eastern and the South Central Region of Bulgaria. Glavbolgarstroy is the Contractor of the construction works of LOT 4. The company will rehabilitate roads in the districts of Varna, Dobrich and Silistra, and the contract is at the total amount of 4 174 500 еurо. PR & International Relations Directorate
