On 10 June 2004, Thursday, the Regional Development and Public Works Minister Valentin Cerovski will grant the first licenses to the new figures in the construction process, who were introduced after the last amendments to the Spatial Development Act last year, namely consultants. Consultants are legal entities which are licensed by the Regional Development and Public Works Minister. It is their responsibility to judge whether projects are pursuant to all regulations and requirements of the Hygienic-Epidemiological Institute, fire safety services, the National Institute for Monuments of Culture. The ceremony of granting licenses will be attended by the Regional Development and Public Works Deputy Ministers Petya Gegova and Savin Kovachev as well as the Head of the National Construction Control Directorate Ivan Simidchiev. The ceremony of granting licenses will be held at the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works, Conference Room 1, at 3 p.m. PR and International Relations Directorate
