Minister Shishkov: The country will not continue to be without road maintenance

We will continue MRDPW’s good practices – those of the former government and the caretaker cabinets, but will also make an improvement. This was said by caretaker Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Arch. Ivan Shishkov, who accepted the post from his predecessor Grozdan Karadjov at a ceremony at MRDPW.

I hope to find that all things we talked about with Mr. Karadjov seven months ago have progressed and will continue in a constructive direction in future, the Regional Minister said in addition.

Asked about the most important tasks Arch. Ivan Shishkov noted that obviously, a problem with the road companies exists, but he has to acquaint himself in depth with it in order to find the right and legal decision. The minister was explicit that the country will definitely not stay without road maintenance. In addition, he said that the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works also has other important priorities on which it should work at fast paces.
