Minister Gagauzov and Wolfgang Roth Discussed the EIB Projects in Bulgaria

The next 2006 must be the year of designing projects which are to be financed by the EU Cohesion Fund and the experience that EIB has in this field can be used to start 2007 with the necessary projects. That statement made the minister of regional development and public works Asen Gagauzov at a meeting with the vice-president of EIB Wolfgang Roth. During the meeting was discussed the status of the projects in our country financed by the bank – Transit roads 3, Lot 1 and Lot 5 of Tracia motorway, the water treatment plants in the Maritsa river basin. It was established that the implementation of the constructed with EIB means projects has been going under schedule. Wolfgang Roth underlined that the Bank is ready to credit in Bulgaria projects with long-term efficiency. Public Relations and International Activities Directorate
