Minister Cerovski delivered a report on the topic of “Governmental Priorities for the Water and Sewerage Services Supply” at a seminar on “Financing of the Water and Sewerage Sector”

The Regional Development and Public Works Minister Valentin Cerovski delivered a report on the topic of “Governmental Priorities for the Water and Sewerage Services Supply” at a seminar on “Financing of the Water and Sewerage Sector” which was organized by the missions of the World Bank and the USAID in Bulgaria. The forum was held at Moskva Park Hotel in Sofia on 31 May and 1 June 2004. In his welcoming speech the country manager of the World Bank, Mr. Oscar de Bruyn Kops, underlined the important role of the public-private partnership in the water sector development. The World Bank, as well as the other international financial institutions, understand the necessity of big investment. The seminar was also attended by representatives of the MRDPW, EBRD, EIB, the Delegation of the European Commission to Bulgaria and other institutions. PR & International Relations Directorate
