Minister Asen Gagauzov Reported the Work of MRDPW for the First 100 Days of the Government

For the first 100 days of the Government the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works developed drafts of new Laws for the Concessions and for Development and physical planning of the Bulgarian Black sea coastline. This was announced on a press conference by the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Asen Gagauzov. Under process of development are drafts of a Law for the Conditions and Procedures for Issuing Permissions and Registration of Physical and Juridical Persons Performing Construction Works, draft of a Law for the storey property as well as Rules for Enforcement of the Law for the State Property. For the same period the Council of Ministers approved the amendments offered by MRDPW to the Law for the State Property and the Law for the Roads. In the field of the European integration has been developed and is under process of compliance with the EC structures a National Strategy Framework 2007 – 2013 and a Regional Operative Program. In the field of the regional development have been developed the Regional Plans for Development of the Planning Regions and their preliminary assessments. Municipality plans for development for the period 2007 – 2013 have developed and approved 254 out of 264 municipalities. All 28 districts have developed their Strategies for Development for 2005 – 2015. The application forms for investment projects in the WSS sector for WSS Ruse and Burgas with total amount of MEUR 67,8 have been approved by the ISPA Management Committee. The building of waste water treatment plants for Dimitrovgrad and Haskovo has started. During the first 100 days of the Government have been put into exploitation road projects amounting to over 150 mln. lv. The by-pass roads of Vratsa and Samokov have been accomplished as well as the sectors of Hemus motorway. A road segment of Maritsa motorway, the road Mizia –Oryahovo, the CBCP Ilinden tunnel, the road segment Kazanlak – Stara Zagora and the segment Sliven – Burgas are due to be accomplished. In the WSS sector have been repaired flood damages for the total of 3,5 mln. lv. DNCS has performed three thematic controlling actions – on the Black sea construction sites, on the mobile operators basis stations and on the construction supervisors. The controlling actions carried out on the Black sea coastline area are 275, the exploitation of one construction site was banned, the construction works of 19 construction sites have been ceased, 12 protocols for demolition of building sites have been issued.
