24 Firms Apply To A Project For Improvement Of The Water Supply In Regions With Potential For Development Of Tourism

A total of 24 offers have been submitted to the tender for construction on a project for improvement of the water supply in regions with potential for development of tourism. The project has been financed under Phare Program, Financing Memorandum 2003. Improvement of water supply and sewage (WSS) nets is envisaged in 10 municipalities: Simitli, Razlog, Boboshevo, Dospat, Sevlievo, Dryanovo, Godech, Varshets, Tsarevo and Veliko Tarnovo. In the framework of the project reconstruction and rehabilitation of existing WSS systems will be carried out in order to be reduced the losses and to be connected the waste waters with the waste water treatment plants. The new construction includes building of additional water sources and local reservoirs in order to be ensured the necessary amount of water and pressure in the net.
